Code of Ethics

The practice of public relations can present unique and challenging ethical issues. Successful public relations hinges on the ethics of its practitioners and their ability to act with integrity and preserve the public trust.

To help members carry out their ethical responsibilities, PRSA created the PRSA Code of Ethics, which is widely regarded as the industry standard. Under the Code of Ethics, members pledge to adhere to core values, principles and practice guidelines that define their professionalism and advance their success.
