PRSA Thoroughbred Chapter announces 2026 Board of Directors

LEXINGTON, Ky., Jan. 15, 2026 — The Public Relations Society of America Thoroughbred Chapter is pleased to announce its 2026 Board of Directors, a dedicated group of communications professionals who will lead the chapter in advancing the public relations profession and upholding the highest standards of ethical practice.

 

The 2026 Board of Directors brings together experienced leaders representing higher education, nonprofit organizations, financial services, and corporate communications, reflecting the diverse landscape of the profession across Central Kentucky.

 

The 2026 PRSA Thoroughbred Chapter Board of Directors includes:

  • President: Marc Whitt (University of Kentucky)

  • President-Elect & Membership Chair: Risa Richardson, APR (NiSource/Columbia Gas of Kentucky)

  • Immediate Past President: Katie Neal, ACC (Katie Neal Coaching & Consulting)

  • Secretary & APR Co-Chair: Amy Preske, APR (Booze PR)

  • Treasurer & APR Co-Chair: Brant Welch, APR (Farmers National Bank/WealthSouth)

  • Programming Chair: Mallory Olson (PR & Communications Professional)

  • Communications Co-Chair (Internal Communications): Lilli Dubler (C2 Strategic Communications)

  • Communications Co-Chair (External Communications): Dan Koett (Affinity Media & Public Relations)

  • Social Media Chair: Abby Huddle (Eastern Kentucky University)

  • Website & Digital Strategy Chair: Leigh Anne Hiatt (Association of Independent Colleges and Universities)

  • Member-at-Large, APR Co-Chair & Awards Chair: Holly Wiemers, APR (University of Kentucky Ag Equine Programs)

  • Member-at-Large & PRSSA Liaison: Brittney Kinison (Frontier Nursing University)

Throughout 2026, the board will focus on member engagement, high-quality educational programming, APR support, and strengthening connections between professionals, students, and emerging leaders in the field.
