About Julia Petryk
Julia Petryk is an experienced Public Relations Manager with 10+ years of experience in Digital PR and Media Relations. Strong media professional with excellent communications skills focused in PR. She helps local Ukrainian tech startups get global coverage, serving as Tech PR School’s mentor and founder. After the full-scale invasion of Russia, she co-founded the Ukrainian PR Army to fight on the information front and keep Ukraine in the spotlight of international media, amplifying Ukrainian voices. Future is Female award winner. She is one of the 25 PR innovators in Europe named by Provoke Media.

About the Ukrainian PR Army
The Ukrainian PR Army is an independent, non-profit organization comprising of Ukrainian communication experts. Its mission is to share the truth about the Russian war against Ukraine and to build a credible image of Ukraine as a democratic, independent European country. In the initial days of Russia’s full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, it became evident that Western media were ill-prepared for war reporting and lacked access to Ukrainian experts and witnesses. PR Army was founded in the first hours of the invasion as a community-driven, self-organized initiative. Top Ukrainian PR specialists and business leaders united to share the truth about the war. It was an instant response to the full-scale invasion, supported by the drive to voice Ukrainian opinions in the Western media. Since February 24, 2022, we’ve operated as a cohesive team, each member contributing valuable contacts, connections, stories, and expertise.
